The Lovemakers--duo Lisa Light and Scott Bonde--play bouncy electro-pop with a 1980s snap and crackle, heavy on the synths, drum machines, and sassy vocals. This catchy, danceable fare has a sexy and street-smart lyrical bent and plays well both as dance music and living room listening. Amidst all the urbane fun, the surprisingly touching ballad "Naturally Lonely" is a highlight.
